I understand women need promises from men in addition to the sweet words. My question is: will women actually demand that men keep their promises and make them come true or will women just happily forget about the promises knowing that they are fake anyway?
Honestly, men should not make any promise that they cannot keep, because keeping promises / being credible is one of the most profound virtue found in men kind.
Actually, most women can distinguish a true promise from a lie!
You are right if they know it is a lie they will either "leave" this man or cling on to a dream that they know it will vanish sooner or later. However, being a man, do you wish to be labeled a "liar"?
I think not.
Thus, this it why I say do not make any promise that you cannot keep, and if you do make any promise, you need to keep it.
I see: so women do take men's promises to them seriously even though women also like to hear light-hearted sweet words. Of course sweet talking is always necessary if we want to capture a woman's heart, but ultimately it is our promises -- and our ability to keep our promises -- that win over a woman's heart.
