Venice 5: Freedom and Opulence

Look! Surprisingly....Their eyes are on the chest of women....

Where did these men place their eyes on in the painting, manifests the voluptuous longing and freedom of love predominating the golden age of Venice.
Not that promiscuity became recognized, but the attempt to emancipate from the confinement of church could be found here.

While the plump nude women posses such center of attention, disregarding the theme, either religious or mythological, profound or seductive, the physical appeals of wealth and opulence truly demonstrate the affluence and richness of Venice in the 16 th century.
