Who do I need to become to live the life I desire?


This is important because if you keep doing the same old stuff, keep reacting to things in the same old way then you will keep living the same old life and nothing will ever change.

Try going through today by stopping for a second before you do anything, pause for a moment while you ask yourself, “Who do I need to become to live the life I desire” and then choose the action of the person you want to be instead of the action of the person you were.

You will be pleasantly surprised by the outcomes my friends.

After all you have nothing to lose except an outdated way of living.

P.S It also helps if you take some time out of your day to figure out just who you want to become, life is a journey and while sometimes wandering the unknown with no destination in mind can be fun, eventually you do need to start choosing some exact destinations , some versions of yourself that challenge your existence.

Queen of the Piano : Clara Wieck Shumann

She is the first female concert pianist recognised in music history, Clara Wieck Schumnn performed with passion and poetry that she became the only and best interpreter of the music for her husband, Robert Schumann, and her lifetime close friend Johannes Brahms.

One of the most renowned figures among classical musicians of the nineteenth century, Clara Schumann (1819 - 1896) was sometimes known as Europe's Queen of the Piano. Beside her marriage to Robert Schumann, her own accomplishments, which include a small but important body of compositions, have been investigated, in increasing detail, as interest in the creative lives of women has grown.

However, the part that most enchanted me was not her determination for music but her relationship with Brahms. Brahms' loyalty to her as a lover and friend, who never got married in his life, truly appealed in his music, portraying in the form of outburst fire and various layers of voicing. We can hear his personality of liberty, playfulness, grandeur and later hidden misery in his music, which Clara always performed for him. It is a relationship of togetherness that engulfed my sensitivity.

Madame Bovary 1: Tragedy upon Illusionary Ideals

Madame Bovary is Gustave Flaubert's first published novel and considered his masterpiece. The story focuses on a doctor's wife, Emma Bovary, who has adulterous affairs and lives beyond her means in order to escape the banalities and emptiness of provincial life. Though the basic plot is rather simple, even archetypal, the novel's true art lies in its details and hidden patterns. Flaubert was notoriously a perfectionist about his writing and claimed always to be searching for le mot juste ("the right word").
The novel was attacked for obscenity by public prosecutors when it was first serialized in La Revue de Paris between October 1, 1856 and December 15, 1856, resulting in a trial in January 1857 that made the story notorious. After the acquittal on February 7, 1857, it became a bestseller when it was published as a book in April 1857, and now stands virtually unchallenged not only as a seminal work of Realism, but as one of the most influential novels ever written.
A 2007 poll of contemporary authors, published in a book entitled The Top Ten, cited Madame Bovary as one of the two greatest novels ever written, second only to Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina.[1]

There is a safe realm with only pureness within ourselves, without judgement, without human aggregates，which means we should be connected in a higher intelligence that we always belong to and that is the true self. The higher intelligence or higher counsciousness sounds like God in Christian, only that in Buddhism, I can acturlly become one.

禪師說:往外尋找，永遠找不到你要的。沒有任何人可以滿足你。

當你找到那個安全的地方，一切的亂流都將不再對你有所干擾； 沒有思考的，沒有負面能量的，沒有情緒的安全地帶。

此時，你與週遭的人是沒有界線的，你將給予自己最大的慈悲，最大的愛， 你也同時給予別人同樣的慈悲與愛；

你們的意識是同時相同的存在，你也將在最安全的地方安住! 因此，不必再往外追尋，你心靈的空隙是外人無法填補的；只有你自己可以。

Zen Teaching 2: The New Identity

Zen Disciple's Question: In order to escape from this dangerous world, I would close my vulnerable heart from being sabotaged from this destructive environment. But, you said that I need to open up my mind, embrace my heart, be compassionate to my self, and then I shall be determined to be compassionate with others. How do I do that with a closed heart?

Zen Master's Answer: As long as you cling on your old identity, which includes thinking mind, resisting mind, emotions, and negative energy, you will always feel vulnerable and fragile while living in this dangerous environment filled with violence and lies which can be described as all the turbulence in the river. However, if you would transform yourself to a new identity, a real you, touching the ground of the river and being at a safe ground, you can open your heart without any fear of being harmed by any one. With this new identity, you are safe and you can send your compassion to everyone in the world.

Avatar 導演Cameron 說，潘朵拉星球上的納美人，是比地球還要進化的高等人類，精神層面表現的是人類更高層的理想；可笑的是，地球人第一次攻擊了外星球，攻擊了在表面上比自己原始脆弱，但實際上更進化，更具集體意識的世界。

Next Five in Five : 5 New Technologies

（ＩＢＭ）最近公布第四屆「未來五年的五大創新」（Next Five in Five）預測報告，鑒於人類城市化趨勢日益顯著，去年居住在城市的人口更首次超過全球總人口的半數，今年預測未來五年可能改變城市人類生活、工作和遊戲方式的五大創新科技。

Avatar is a 2009 American science fiction film written and directed by James Cameron, and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang.

In 1994, director James Cameron wrote a 114-page scriptment for Avatar.[5]

Avatar is centered around the themes of imperialism and biodiversity.[46] Cameron has said that Avatar shares themes with At Play in the Fields of the Lord, and The Emerald Forest, which feature clashes between cultures and civilizations, and acknowledged the film's connection with Dances With Wolves, where a battered soldier finds himself drawn to the tribal culture he was initially fighting against.[47]
In a 2007 interview with Time magazine, Cameron addressed the meaning of the film's title, answering the question "What is an avatar, anyway?" Cameron stated, "It's an incarnation of one of the Hindu gods taking a flesh form." He said that "[i]n this film what that means is that the human technology in the future is capable of injecting a human's intelligence into a remotely located body, a biological body". Cameron stated, "It's not an avatar in the sense of just existing as ones and zeroes in cyberspace. It's actually a physical body."[4]
At Comic Con 2009, Cameron told attendees that he wanted to make "something that has this spoonful of sugar of all the action and the adventure and all that". He wanted this to thrill him "as a fan" but also have a conscience "that maybe in the enjoying of it makes you think a little bit about the way you interact with nature and your fellow man".[48] He added that "the Na'vi represent something that is our higher selves, or our aspirational selves, what we would like to think we are" and that even though there are good humans within the film, the humans "represent what we know to be the parts of ourselves that are trashing our world and maybe condemning ourselves to a grim future".[48]
